Daily dose #2 - Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA)
Guilt doesn’t give us a ticket to re-wright the past, and nor does worry, the ability to control our futures.
As days go by, living in a chasm of uncertainty has become the norm. This has bred a population of over-thinkers, peoples whose vocabulary is saturated with ‘what’, ‘why’, ‘when’, ‘how’. An unhealthy perspective, which holds very little benefit.
Heeding the advice of Umar ibn Al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) when things go south put your front foot forward and face your future head-on, rather than dwelling on the past and cowering behind thoughts of the future.
